Day-delegate packages (DDR)
Most conference hotels price per delegate, per day, bundling room hire, catering (arrival tea and coffee, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea) and basic audio visual. Capital-city four and five star venues sit at the top of the range, regional and suburban options lower. Always confirm exactly what is bundled, because two venues quoting the same number rarely include the same things.
Why we will not give you one number.
You can find a national day delegate average in about four seconds. It will not help you, because no event is ever quoted at the average.
The same room is priced differently depending on the month, the day of the week, how full the diary already is, how many bedrooms you bring with you and how much you are spending on food. Two venues quoting the identical per-person figure rarely include the identical things, and the difference usually sits in audio visual, breakout rooms and anything after six in the evening.
