Perth venues we have walked through.

Perth is compact and walkable, with the river at the edge of the CBD and the Swan Valley a short drive away, so there is somewhere to take delegates once the sessions finish. The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre handles the large programs, while the Burswood precinct and the city's hotels cover conferences, functions and incentives. We source across the city and negotiate rates that account for Perth's distance and its seasons.

A few Perth venues, and what each one is really for.
A spread rather than a ranking, chosen so you can see the shape of the market. Every figure below is the one the venue publishes for itself. Figures checked 6 September 2026. We source right across Perth, so treat this as a starting point.

A quick steer, based on what you are running. Tell us the detail and we will shortlist what suits it, rather than the obvious names.
Based on venue suitability alone.
Where in Perth to hold it.
The area you choose shapes everything from how easily delegates arrive to what you will pay for dinner. These are the ones we source across most, and what each is good for.
Elizabeth Quay
Where the event is the reason people came. PCEC anchors it, the Ritz-Carlton is across the road, and Elizabeth Quay station is minutes away. Rooms are spread across several hotels rather than attached.
Perth CBD east end
Adelaide Terrace and Hibernian Place carry the 300 to 1,000 delegate residential conferences, with Hyatt Regency, Pan Pacific and The Westin close together and the meeting space in the same buildings as the beds.
Burswood
Everything on one site, or the biggest flat floor room in the state. Crown and Optus Stadium sit side by side, fifteen minutes from the airport. Weekday rail is limited, so delegates drive or shuttle.
Northbridge and Wellington Street
Large receptions, launches and the delegate social program. RAC Arena brings 2,500 cocktail capacity and 680 car bays, with Northbridge dining immediately north.
Fremantle
Character and separation without leaving the metro area. The Esplanade carries 300 rooms and a 799 square metre ballroom, about half an hour from both the airport and the city.
Swan Valley
Dinners, launches and single day offsites in a vineyard setting half an hour from the city. Accommodation is thin at conference scale, so a city hotel usually underwrites it.
The parts of Perth we would raise before you commit.
No destination is right for every brief, and the useful conversation is about where the limits are. These are the ones that change a Perth program most often.
Perth is a transcontinental flight and its own time zone
Every east coast delegate is on a long flight into a different clock, which pushes most programs to a two night minimum and lifts the airfare line of the budget. It is the single biggest thing to price honestly at the start rather than discover later.
March 2027 is compromised in the city
The World Police and Fire Games run 12 to 21 March 2027 with more than 8,500 participants and PCEC as the Games hub, with the associated convention immediately before. Treat that window as unavailable for both venue and room block.
RAC Arena releases dates, you do not choose them
The arena floor and its function rooms are only available on non event days, so availability follows the touring calendar. If it is on your list, we check the release before we let you hold a date around it.
Perth is two precincts four kilometres apart, and the choice decides the week.
One brief. A real person on the other end.
Everything above this point is information. It is genuinely useful, and no other venue finder in Australia publishes it. But it is not the thing you are actually buying.
What you are buying is someone who has already had the conversation with the person who holds that room, knows what they will move on and when, and will pick up the phone rather than send you a portal login. Whoever takes your Perth brief stays your point of contact from the first call through to the final invoice.

Venues we can speak for
Elizabeth Quay and Burswood behave completely differently. One puts delegates into a walkable city with rooms spread across several hotels; the other puts everything on one site with a shuttle to anywhere else. We start with which of those your program actually needs.
The drawbacks as well as the pitch
Every venue has something worth knowing before you sign. A difficult load in, a low ceiling, a pre function space that struggles once the room is full. You will hear that from us at shortlist, not on the day.
Free to you
There is no fee for our service. The sourcing, the local knowledge and the negotiating are all included, and the rate you end up with is usually better than booking direct.
